About the Job – Senior IT Systems Engineer

This pivotal role involves deploying, supporting, and maintaining Synamedia applications and products within cloud environments and at customer sites.

The successful candidate will have enthusiasm, a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to enhance the integration of Artifactory and related services into the software development lifecycle.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and support Artifactory and other enterprise-grade IT services, ensuring high availability across geographically distributed environments.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison with third-party vendors, including the Artifactory provider, to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to users of IT services, ensuring timely issue resolution, adherence to SLAs, and proactive vulnerability management.
  • Access Management: Manage user and team provisioning, access controls, and permissions across supported services, with a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and operational continuity.
  • Project Delivery: Partner with cross-functional IT teams to deliver complex maintenance, upgrades, and support initiatives across multiple services.
  • Automation Expertise: Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention across supported systems.
  • Process Modernization: Drive modernization efforts for deployment, monitoring, and testing processes of infrastructure services.
