**Platform Architect Opportunity**

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to spearhead the development of our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a founding member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable and secure platform that aligns with our business goals.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to make strategic decisions that impact the company's future. You will work closely with our CTO and engineering leadership to define our infrastructure philosophy, ensuring that every decision sets the standard for how we build and ship software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust cloud platform on GCP, making crucial decisions on network topology, data encryption strategies, and scalability.
  • Develop a CI/CD pipeline that enables rapid deployments, reducing deployment times from 30 minutes to sub-5 minutes.
  • Build an infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns that will be used for years.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in GCP services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Go or Python for automation.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Track record of building platforms that scale.
