Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data solutions on Snowflake Data Cloud. This is a unique opportunity for an expert in data warehousing concepts, Snowflake architecture, and serverless/cloud automation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, as well as expertise in Snowflake native load utilities, API integration, and automation. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance principles.

The selected individual will be responsible for architecting and delivering end-to-end data solutions, leading data governance efforts, optimizing performance, and managing costs. They will also oversee Snowflake infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data solutions on Snowflake Data Cloud
  • Apply deep expertise in Snowflake architecture (compute, storage, security, data sharing)
  • Use Snowflake native load utilities (e.g., Snowpipe, COPY INTO) for data ingestion and transformation
  • Develop and manage API-based integrations and automation
  • Lead data governance, quality, security, and compliance efforts
  • Optimize performance and manage costs
  • Oversee Snowflake infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/master's in computer science, IT, or related field
  • 4-12 years of Snowflake Data Cloud experience
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and ecosystem
  • Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and diverse data structures
  • Expertise in Snowflake native load utilities
  • API integration and automation experience
  • Data governance, security, and compliance background
  • Performance optimization and cost management skills
  • Experience with Snowflake infrastructure management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with data modelling, Python, PySpark, and warehousing best practices
  • Exposure to MLOps, AI/ML pipelines, or deploying AI models
  • Snowflake or relevant cloud certifications
