Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Unix Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Unix server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unix Administration: Provide high-level Unix administration support including deploying, managing, and troubleshooting large Unix server infrastructure
  • Redhat Satellite Management: Manage Redhat Satellite, Capsule and Template Management
  • Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts in Shell, Perl, Python, and similar languages to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Virtualization and Storage: Design and implement virtualized environments, storage solutions, and network requirements for Unix server infrastructure
  • Incident and Change Management: Participate in incident management and change management processes using ITIL framework
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of Unix server infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Unix server administration, Redhat Satellite, and related technologies
  • Education: Engineering graduate or equivalent qualification
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Redhat operating systems, scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python), virtualization (VMware), and storage solutions
