Print Production Manager

As a seasoned professional in the print industry, we are seeking a skilled Print Production Manager to oversee client projects from inception to delivery.

This key role involves providing technical support, collaborating with artwork studios and printers, and ensuring consistent high-quality prints. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive experience in print production, with expertise in color management, offset, flexo, or gravure printing methods. Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications is also required.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills. They must be able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and external clients or vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Client's project expectations
  • Adhere to Client's process and policies in delivering work task in a timely manner
  • Provides technical support and advice the needful in minimize cost
  • Partnering with artwork studio and printers to drive quality prints and keeping consistency across prints
  • Extend support during design phase through artwork process, review and help to identify potential risk
  • Lead conversations with respective stakeholders during color assessment on print work
  • Strong project management skills, tracks project timeline in meeting deadlines
  • Manage color standards storage and support required courier arrangement with logistic company
  • Taking initiative and be proactive, aggressively in resolving challenges
  • Foster good relationship across stakeholders
  • Render support onsite, offsite and at printer's site as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years progressive print production experience; or equivalent combination of education
  • Client facing experience and prior experience in Project/Account management.
  • Familiar with Color Management or Separation tools
  • Strong knowledge in various Print methods (ie: Offset, Flexo or Gravure)
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management and planning skills (from conceptualization to completion)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues across the organization and external clients or vendors
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines and reporting
  • Occasional travel is required (Local/ International)
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
