Job Title: IBM i/AS400 Platform Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional with proven expertise in IBM i/AS400 platform and RPG IV concepts, including CLLE and ILE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of RPG IV, CLLE, and ILE concepts, as well as experience working with OMS, Inventory, WMS, and PO modules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient database solutions using DB2/400 physical/logical files, SQL, journaling, and triggers.
  • Developing and maintaining batch jobs, interactive screens, menus, and subfiles.
  • Ensuring seamless file-based integrations and data exchange formats, such as EDI, XML, and CSV.
  • Maintaining Change Management tools, such as Aldon, Turnover, and Rocket.
  • Understanding business workflows in the supply chain or retail domain.
  • Designing API development on IBM i using Open Access or web services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience on IBM i/AS400 platform.
  • Experience in the retail domain.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong Communications and Client interaction skills.
