As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. This includes monitoring and responding to incidents via ticketing system within service level agreements timelines, performing remote troubleshooting and escalating unresolved issues, supporting users across different time zones, and ensuring minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity
  • Collaborate with IT teams for coordinated support
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications
  • Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments
  • Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues
  • Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies
