Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the production department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production process to ensure it meets plan requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage resources, including manpower, machinery, materials, and finances, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
  • Evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to meet quality standards.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-15 years of experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing business.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of wagon engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Strong execution skills.
