  • We are seeking an experienced Welding Technologist to join our team.
  • Develop and implement welding procedures for various steel types, including Carbon, alloy, stainless, and high tensile steels, for the manufacture of Boilers, Heat Exchangers, and Pressure Vessels to national and international codes.
  • Utilize excellent grasping power and presentation skills to maintain synergy between customers and third-party entities.
  • Apply analytical skills to analyze root causes in welding-related areas.
  • Familiarity with GTAW automation and exotic materials is an asset.
  • Awareness of different material welding processes, such as P1 (C-steel), P3, P4, P5 (Cr-Mo steel), P6, P7, P8 (Martensitic, Ferritic, Austenitic steel), is required.
  • Worked with materials like 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 410, Inconel, Duplex, Super Duplex, etc.
  • Knowledge of ASME codes and standards for Pressure Vessels and Boilers (ASME SEC I, SEC II, SEC V III, SEC IX, ASME B31.3) is essential.
  • Familiarity with Weld Plan, PQR, WPS, SWP, Welding Repair procedure, heat treatment, consumables estimation & inventory management & Non-Destructive Examination (LPE, MPE, UE, RE etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of Different Welding Processes like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, GMAW, ESSC, FCAW, Groove welding & weld overlays is necessary.
