About the Role:

  1. Data Science Expertise: Design, develop, and fine-tune advanced AI models with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational systems.
  2. SLM Adaptation: Enhance multilingual Small Language Models (SLMs) for applications such as travel destination expertise and customer support.
  3. NLI Model Development: Build custom Natural Language Inference (NLI) and reward-scoring models to improve SLM training.
  4. Active Learning Pipelines: Develop and implement active learning pipelines for data and models in NLP, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and conversational latent intent/concepts.
  5. Conversational AI Architect: Architect and enhance conversational AI systems to dynamically adapt and comprehend concepts/intents across multiple lines of business.
  6. Quality Assurance: Drive end-to-end quality assurance through robust integration and experience testing.
  7. Mentorship: Mentor engineering teams in advanced SLM and Generative AI analytics.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions that impact millions of users.

You Bring:

  • Deep experience in NLP & NLI, small language models, base language model retraining.
  • Extensive experience in conversational NLP systems.
  • Experience in SLM adaptor fine tuning, SFT training, SLM pruning.
  • Experience in retriever frameworks in Q&A bots.
  • Experience in contrastive learning, graph learning based embedding methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in scaling your models to large scale search systems is a plus.
  • Very good critical reasoning skills, data centric NLP/NLI systems.
