Job Title: Fundraising Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to lead our philanthropic efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and managing a team of fundraising professionals.

About the Role:

The Fundraising Leader will work closely with the Foundation Leader(s) to establish and implement a strategic plan for fundraising, including setting goals, identifying opportunities, and allocating resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including identifying and pursuing new funding sources
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities
  • Manage a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enrichment and augmentation of fundraising opportunities and impact

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Fundraising Leader must have:

  • A Master's degree in business, social sciences, or another related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and an executive presence
  • Ability to stretch limits to meet deadlines and time-bound goals for self and team members
