Job Summary:

The role of a Technical Architect involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise-grade solutions using OpenShift, Kafka, and container-based architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading container migrations from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring system performance, high availability, and security across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise-grade solutions utilizing OpenShift, Kafka, and containerized architecture.
  • Lead container migrations from legacy systems to cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Optimize system performance, ensure high availability, and maintain robust security measures across enterprise platforms.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end architecture and DevOps integration, including CI/CD pipeline automation and continuous monitoring.
  • Drive compliance, governance, and best practices in deployment and release processes, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Mentor development teams on performance tuning, observability, and sustainable coding strategies, promoting growth and expertise.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and implement tools for monitoring, alerting, and logging to enhance operational visibility and reliability, reducing downtime and improving overall system efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions using OpenShift.
  • Hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong background in containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Experience leading container migrations, optimizing system performance, security, and availability.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD automation, with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Expertise in DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC), continuous monitoring, and automated deployments.
  • Strong mentoring skills and experience coaching teams on observability, tuning, and architectural best practices.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Knowledge of microservices and event-driven design patterns.
  • Hands-on with monitoring tools Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Experience implementing security best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certification in Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud platforms is a plus.
