Senior Cloud Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platform capabilities.

You will drive innovation to improve technical efficiency and reduce operational drag by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. This includes automating repetitive tasks, defining metrics, monitoring performance, and ensuring operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering with diverse technologies and environments, as well as experience with CI/CD tools, containerization technologies, and public cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platform capabilities.
  • Drive innovation to improve technical efficiency and reduce operational drag.
  • Apply SRE principles to automate tasks, define metrics, monitor performance, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage security controls and compliance at the platform layer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure design principles and reduce information security risks.
  • Utilize AI tools and platforms to accelerate cloud migration, enhance development workflows, and drive productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering with diverse technologies and environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • 2+ years of experience building and managing APIs or microservices.
  • 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Node.js, or Angular.
  • Exposure to Apache Airflow and DBT is a plus.
