Job Title: Treasury Officer - Debt and Loan Specialist
About the Role:
The role of a Treasury Officer - Debt and Loan Specialist is to support the company's financial activities by managing debt and loan instruments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial modeling expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt and Loan Management: Responsible for liaising with lenders, including public and private sector banks, NBFCs, investors, mutual funds, insurance companies, etc. to initiate and monitor deals from scratch till closure of transactions.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and interpret cash flows, bank CMAs, and other financial data.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to periodic compliances (monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual) of lenders and resolve any queries or observations raised by them.
- Negotiation and Pricing: Participate in negotiations with lenders to secure optimal borrowing rates and terms.
- Covenant Monitoring: Track and report on covenants related to interest payable, repayment schedules, and other financial obligations.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of loan and debt market instruments, financial modeling, and regulatory requirements. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field is preferred.
