Middleware Administrator Job Summary

This role involves working as a project-based subject matter expert in infrastructure, analyzing problems and providing solutions to clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in middleware administration, including WebSphere Managed Middleware support, patch management, and system maintenance.

In this position, you will be responsible for administering, supporting, and maintaining WebSphere systems, as well as installing new instances or upgrading existing ones.

You will also provide WebSphere licenses and software maintenance, perform privileged user actions, and analyze logs related to incidents.

This is a hands-on role that requires a good understanding of various platforms and technologies, including Unix, Linux, AIX, and Windows.

If you have certifications in WAS, IBM MQ, cloud computing, or project management, it's a plus.

This is a project-based role where you'll work closely with architects, technicians, and project managers to deliver solutions to clients.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in middleware administration
