Job Title: Revenue Data Analyst

This is a highly analytical and data-driven position within the short-term vacation rental industry.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and executing revenue strategies using industry-leading pricing platforms and data tools.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for analyzing occupancy trends, pacing data, and market dynamics to adjust pricing and boost RevPAR, ADR, and overall revenue.

  • Data-Driven Pricing Strategies: Design and manage data-driven pricing strategies using tools like dynamic pricing platforms.
  • Occupancy Analysis: Analyze occupancy trends and pace data to inform revenue decisions.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor market indicators and competitor performance.
  • Performance Dashboards: Develop performance dashboards and reports to support internal and client-facing analysis.
  • Property Audits: Conduct property audits to identify revenue opportunities and improvement areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance property performance and alignment.
  • Presentation Skills: Present clear, data-backed recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in revenue management or data analytics within the short-term vacation rental industry.
  • Dynamic Pricing Tools: Mandatory experience with dynamic pricing tools.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in SQL and Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex visualizations.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Forecasting Techniques: Familiarity with forecasting techniques and statistical modeling.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
