Financial Audit Professional Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Auditor to join our organization and contribute to the evaluation of financial records, identification of risks, and delivery of accurate audit findings.

This role involves working with various clients or internal departments to assess financial systems, processes, and controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and providing high-quality recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
  • Evaluate the accuracy of financial records and compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop audit procedures based on identified risk factors.
  • Assess internal controls and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed working papers and document audit findings.
  • Communicate audit results effectively to clients or management.
  • Collaborate with audit team members and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.
  • Support the preparation of audit reports and financial statements.
  • Mentor junior auditors (if senior-level).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CA or CA Inter with Article ship.
  • 1-2 years of Audit experience under CA Firm.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
