Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Product Owner and drive agile development teams forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product managers to understand feature requirements and ensure effective communication with development teams.
  • Take ownership of assigned features from start to finish, guaranteeing full understanding of requirements and clear communication to development teams.
  • Prioritize development work based on project planning and identified dependencies.
  • Define epics and user stories in JIRA, understanding dependencies for successful delivery.
  • Create development tickets in JIRA boards, explaining business requirements and impacts to development and QA teams.
  • Be an expert in functional software components and their impact on different areas, focusing on development pod expertise.
  • Prototype software features using wireframes, user workflow diagrams, or sample calculators.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to define acceptance criteria and sign off on developed features.
  • Test new functionality through UI, APIs, or SFTP/file drop mechanisms.
  • Produce development plans, reporting metrics, and project documentation for internal stakeholders.

Required Tools & Platforms:

  • Jira, Confluence, and agile workflow
  • Figma, Lucid, and wireframing tools
  • Generative AI tools
  • Basic understanding of technology stack (SQL databases, AWS infrastructure, Python, APIs/SFTP)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant subject
  • Certifications in Agile or Product Owner skills
  • Knowledge of derivatives trading, margin calculations, or collateral management
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager, driving agile/scrum teams

Desirable Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to make decisions that unblock agile development teams
