Job Title: Health Safety Environment Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to support the safe execution of engineering, procurement, and construction projects.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in HSE management, who can promote a safety-first culture across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage 8-10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in oil and gas petrochemical industries, construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects/operations.
  • Hold a Bachelors Degree in relevant Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline.
  • Possess NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate, and Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.
  • Develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific HSE procedures/work instructions.
  • Conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Implement practical H2S control measures and conduct HSE audits and inspections.
  • Investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes, and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
  • Able to lead a team of HSE personnel, including HSE officers and Hygiene officers.
  • Solid grasp of HSE Management Systems and legislative requirements.
  • Practical experience in implementing SSOW (PTW/WMS/Risk Assessment, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
