Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned mental health professional to join our team as a Psychologist.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology and have experience working with youth/academic mental health.

They should be comfortable working flexible hours, including night shifts, and be fluent in English with knowledge of Bengali being a plus.

  • Provide mental health support on a rotational basis (10 PM – 6 AM).
  • Conduct counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through the portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels (along with Wellness Champions) to build visibility accessibility and trust with students.
  • Maintain timely case notes records and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives workshops and well-being campaigns across campus.
Requirements

Education:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory).

Experience:

  • (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic approachable way.

Other Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Hindi knowledge of Bengali is a plus.
  • Willing to stay on campus.
