Solution Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Solutions Specialist. As a key member of our consulting services, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design and implementation of software solutions for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of scripting system architecture or relational databases, with experience in configuring application development tools and migrating configured solutions into production environments. You will work closely with senior team members to observe and assist in requirements analysis, gather information about business processes and technical requirements from key client stakeholders, and compose documentation outlining requirements for configuring the solution.

  • Build solutions as designed by senior team members, including configuring application development tools, with direct oversight from team members.

  • Develop plans for migration with direct oversight from senior team members, migrating configured solutions into production environments and supporting customers throughout the process.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will also possess solid collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within teams and with other areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of scripting system architecture or relational databases.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, using a style appropriate to the subject and audience.
  • Able to thoroughly investigate situations or issues to obtain relevant information, asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information.
  • Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking.
  • Solid collaboration skills applied within teams and with other areas.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and appropriately escalate issues for guidance.
  • Average travel requirements are 30% annualized, but unique circumstances may require more travel.
