Vice President - Information Technology

The role of Vice President (IT & Digital Solutions) entails managing the technology backbone and digital initiatives across a portfolio. This position requires strong executional leadership, ensuring IT infrastructure, applications, security, and digital projects operate reliably and deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology & Applications:
    • Implement and support core hospitality applications including property management systems, point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management systems, human resources management systems, and finance systems.
    • Ensure seamless integration between property-level and enterprise systems.
    • Partner with business functions to ensure technology adoption enhances guest experience, service consistency, and revenue processes.
  • Infrastructure, Security & Compliance:
    • Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure across 60+ properties, ensuring network reliability and uptime.
    • Implement cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
    • Maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Project Delivery & Business Support:
    • Lead the execution of IT projects including new rollouts, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
    • Translate operational needs into IT deliverables, escalating strategic alignment issues to the Head of IT.
    • Ensure ROI measurement and reporting on IT initiatives.
  • Vendor & Partner Management:
    • Manage relationships with vendors and system integrators, track performance against SLAs.
    • Support the evaluation of new solutions and pilots.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Development:
    • Lead a team of 6–8 IT professionals, ensuring service orientation, performance, and growth.
    • Develop digital literacy programs for hotel managers and frontline teams.
    • Foster a collaborative culture that ensures smooth adoption of technology solutions.
  • Innovation & Digital Enablement:
    • Execute guest-facing digital initiatives including mobile check-in, self-service kiosks, and digital concierge services.
    • Leverage analytics to provide actionable operational insights.
    • Promote green IT practices at the operational level including cloud adoption, paperless workflows, and energy-efficient solutions.
