Job Title: Machinery and Equipment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor and manage machinery used in food manufacturing processes according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Set up, calibrate, adjust and optimize machine performance to ensure efficient production and product quality.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime, ensure smooth operations and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Record accurate data on machine operating conditions, production outputs and downtime logs.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant and well-maintained working environment adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  • Assist during audits, inspections and documentation verification ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in machinery operations within the food or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling or packaging machines is essential.
  • Knowledge of food technology processes including mixing, drying and stability testing is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control and hygienic practices is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as GMP and HACCP is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ownership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, QA and maintenance teams.
