Cloud FinOps Analyst

Job Description:

As a Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing cloud expenses and improving financial operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of public cloud expense models.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and cloud technology teams to identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Process large volumes of data to analyze trends and make informed decisions.
  • Apply strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills to drive business value.
  • Utilize strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Two (2) or more years of professional experience in technology operations.
  • Experience with Azure is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in cost optimization techniques and tools.
  • Microsoft Certified: AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification is preferred.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner certification is also preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
