Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems design specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems
  • Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20
  • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks
  • Evaluate and optimize HVAC system performance to ensure efficiency and sustainability
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate HVAC systems into larger projects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20)
  • Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles
  • Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (ASHRAE, LEED AP, etc.)
