Job Title

The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including air conditioners, chillers, furnaces, air handlers, and ventilation units.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to guarantee the best possible performance of HVAC equipment.
  • Detect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems, recommending effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications accurately.
  • Adjust system controls to optimize performance and minimize energy consumption.
  • Test and balance air and hydronic systems to meet industry standards.
  • Document all work performed, ensuring accurate service and repair records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or a similar role is required.
  • A strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles is essential.
  • The ability to use HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment is necessary.
  • An understanding of safety procedures and occupational health regulations is crucial.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying weather conditions is required.
Education and Certification:
  • A diploma or ITI/technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred.
