Senior Lead - Data Privacy

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our growing team as a Senior Lead in Data Privacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing privacy frameworks, managing data incidents, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

This role is best suited for professionals with strong expertise in data privacy and a proven track record of handling critical compliance initiatives.

The selected candidate will lead the implementation of privacy frameworks across business functions, manage data privacy incidents, and develop, review, and enforce privacy policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will require 5+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or related functions. You must hold an LLB qualification and have hands-on experience with privacy implementation, frameworks, and incident management.

You should possess a strong understanding of data protection laws and compliance standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing privacy frameworks to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing data incidents and ensuring timely resolution
  • Developing, reviewing, and enforcing privacy policies and procedures
  • Providing guidance on legal and regulatory requirements related to data protection
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on data privacy, audits, and risk management practices

Requirements:

  • LLB qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or related functions
  • Hands-on experience with privacy implementation, frameworks, and incident management
