Kitchen Operations Overview

The Kitchen Operations Manager oversees the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all culinary staff are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

This role requires a strong understanding of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain open communication with the culinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Directs and coordinates the activities of kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develops and implements effective kitchen systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory, menu planning, and food safety protocols
  • Coordinates with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality ingredients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen position, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort setting
  • A culinary degree from a reputable institution
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • A strong understanding of food safety protocols and inventory management systems
