Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security
  • Respond to system alerts, investigate and resolve related system failures, and recover/restored failed systems and applications

Requirements:

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure
