Key Role:

This position is responsible for the technical leadership of automotive electronics hardware development projects for global vehicle OEMs, focusing on instrument clusters, infotainment systems, cameras, information displays, and cockpit electronics controllers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-quality electrical hardware components and systems for automotive applications.
  • Reviewing customer specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in design and development processes, ensuring timely project delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies, including microcontrollers, SOC's, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and more.
  • Performing worst-case analysis and simulations to guarantee product compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Providing expert advice and support to internal stakeholders on electrical design and engineering matters.
  • Maintaining and updating schematic and assembly drawings within the change management system.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed DFMEA documentation for electrical products.
  • Generating electrical information for ECAD designers and PCB layout engineers.
  • Supporting prototype build and testing activities, as well as product verification planning and execution.
  • Ensuring adherence to EMC and validation testing requirements.
  • Utilizing structured problem-solving techniques to resolve test failures and optimize product performance.
  • Presenting project results, analysis, and testing findings to customers and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in:

  • High-speed digital and analog design.
  • Microcontroller and SOC-based system design.
  • Automotive electronics and electrical systems.
  • ECAD design and layout.
  • Lab equipment operation and troubleshooting.
