Hardware Design Engineer Role

The candidate we are looking for will oversee the entire process of developing hardware for power electronics systems, including battery management interfaces and BMS.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design the hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient workflows.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-power designs to guarantee EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments to ensure quality and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety regulations.
  • Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices to meet system requirements.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, adhering to automotive industry standards.
