Job Description:

This is a high-level logistics position that involves overseeing end-to-end import, export, and inland transport processes for sensitive semiconductor equipment and other materials.

  • Establishing logistics processes for inbound and outbound transportation from all global locations.
  • Coordinating and monitoring logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Managing transportation across multiple sites, ensuring seamless operations and strict compliance with relevant trade laws and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics activities, as well as managing relationships with suppliers and customers. A strong understanding of Indian regulations concerning import and export is required.

  • Planning and coordinating logistics workflows to identify cost-saving initiatives and improve process efficiency.
  • Managing reverse logistics and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical issues and improve overall supply chain performance.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent field, along with experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Minimum 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Extensive knowledge of ODC cargo, gas, and chemical logistics, including Indian import and export regulations (Customs, DGFT, PESO, PCB), international trade laws, Incoterms, and compliance requirements.
