Senior Project Manager for High-Impact Projects

Coforge seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects within the banking domain. This key role requires a strong understanding of project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise in Java, Microservices, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, dashboards, and status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with architecture standards.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to generate clear, concise, and insightful reports and presentations.
  • Hands-on understanding of Java, Microservices architecture, and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
