About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Manager to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments.
  • Develop and implement effective payroll systems to ensure smooth processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to process payroll changes, implement system upgrades, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and periodic reports.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure accurate payment records and postings.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Manage sensitive financial information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Liaise with auditors to maintain accurate monitoring of company finances and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of employee income tax, including verifying tax-related documents, assisting with employee queries, and ensuring tax compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial management position.
  • In-depth knowledge of taxation laws & acts, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and the Gratuity Act.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with accounting software and a solid understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
