Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our software quality assurance efforts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead quality audits, process improvements, risk management, and compliance within a high-tech environment.
  • Act as Assessment Team Member (ATM) in CMMI certification journeys; lead/participate in ISO 9001 & CMMI audits.
  • Define, implement, and monitor software development quality processes in line with CMMI for Development, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001, CMMI, and related frameworks; conduct internal/external quality audits.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate software-related risks throughout the SDLC.
  • Drive process enhancements, corrective actions, and adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Conduct sessions on quality practices, RCA, Agile, and risk management.

Candidate Profile:

A successful candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years of experience in software industry, with a strong background in software development (preferably product companies).
  • Must be focused on development project quality processes.
  • A minimum of 75% of career in Tier-1 firms.
  • Background: BE/BTech, started career as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
  • Certifications: CMMI Assessment Team Member; ISO Lead Assessor preferred.
  • Methodologies: Strong knowledge of CMMI for Development, Agile, and awareness of Waterfall.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical ability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Hands-on software development experience.
  • Significant exposure to CMMI for Development.
  • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
