Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented team player with a flair for testing, automation, and software quality to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through a combination of testing, automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform automated testing to ensure software quality and conduct performance, load, and stress tests.
  • Create test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications.
  • Work with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are set up correctly.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Track key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends.
  • Implement process improvements and promote best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing by coordinating resources and guidance for end-users.
  • Conduct security testing and ensure product compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and Playwright.
  • A proven track record in creating and executing test plans and strategies.
  • Experience in performance, load, and stress testing.
  • Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and background in defect management and root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering)
  • 4-7 years relevant testing experience
