Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives, manage testing processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet user expectations and business requirements.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and experience with test management software and bug-tracking tools. They will be responsible for reviewing software requirements, designing comprehensive test scenarios and test plans, executing manual and automated tests, identifying and tracking defects, and reporting observations to the design and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across various platforms (e.g., web, mobile, different operating systems and browsers).
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and bugs using bug-tracking systems, ensuring detailed reporting of issues and their severity.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, stress, and scalability testing, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in testing, quality assurance for software products.
  • Working knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with test management software and bug-tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years in IT.
  • 8+ years in Testing.
