Process Optimization Specialist

Pentair is seeking a dynamic and experienced specialist to lead the definition, optimization, and governance of engineering and product commercialization processes. This role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, process ownership, and technical expertise in tools like Accolade, Jira, and Confluence.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive efforts to define new engineering and product commercialization processes.
  • Collaborate with global leaders to refine and optimize existing workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless process integration and adoption.
  • Develop training materials and deliver engaging in-person or virtual sessions to onboard teams to new or updated processes.
  • Define audit frameworks and conduct regular assessments to ensure process adherence.
  • Lead a team of Accolade configurators and QA specialists.
  • Drive tool upgrades and address user requests efficiently.
  • Participate in governance councils to evaluate and prioritize change requests aligned with business strategy.
  • Leverage excellent written and oral communication skills to align business strategies with execution across global stakeholders.
  • Conduct remote/in-person Kaizen events with globally distributed participants, ensuring objectives are met and improvements are implemented.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
  • Strong process insight and cross-functional experience.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in conducting training sessions.
  • An engineering background with hands-on experience in PPM tools like Accolade.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
  • A solid understanding of staged gate product development processes (NPD, VAVE, Alpha/Beta etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
