Job Title: CICS Administrator

Experience: 5–7 years

Location: Various cities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform system programming and administration tasks for CICS systems.
  • Manage CICS version upgrades, Transaction Server upgrades, and other maintenance activities.
  • Execute SMP/E operations to ensure smooth CICS operations.
  • Define and manage CICS resources using RDO.
  • Create, configure, and sunset CICS regions as required.
  • Modify CICS configurations and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support z/OS Connect (added advantage).

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of CICS Systems Programming.
  • Expertise in z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer.
  • Experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
