Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-time sampling, testing, and documentation of all inward samples, including raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, finished products, by wet and instrumental methods.
  • Perform analysis of all inward samples according to approved specifications and standard testing procedures.
  • Test and report on raw material vendor samples according to approved standard testing procedures and specifications.
  • Test and report on stability samples according to individual approved standard testing procedures and specifications.
  • Prepare, qualify, and maintain working standards according to individual product specifications.
  • Test, report, and validate on validation samples according to the protocol.
  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions according to standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare general reagents, test solutions, indicators, buffers, mobile phase, etc., according to respective monograph procedures and in-house specifications.
  • Raise timely indents for lab chemicals, lab consumables, and all other miscellaneous items.
  • Receive and ensure proper storage and maintenance of newly procured chemicals and in-use chemicals.
  • Receive and ensure proper storage and maintenance of reference standards, primary standards, and chemical standards.
  • Ensure entry of usage log books, registers, and all other documents immediately after analysis.
  • Calibrate instruments and equipment, glassware, according to approved standard operations and calibration procedures.
  • Maintain under-analysis samples according to requirement.
  • Record temperature and humidity of the quality control laboratory area according to approved standard operating procedure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with standard testing procedures and regulations.
