Geospatial Data Solutions Engineer

As a geospatial data solutions engineer, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies to identify areas for future growth, new customers, and new markets in the Geocoding & data integrity space.

You will be responsible for migrating existing geospatial datasets creation processes to our distributed computing platform, bringing more value to our customers and growing market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient algorithms for processing large-scale geospatial datasets.
  • Work closely with domain experts to drive the modernization of existing processes and improve overall system performance.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS to support data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality software development practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex data issues and provide expert-level technical support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing and managing geospatial solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of programming languages, including Java and Python.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL, database warehouses, and data engineering concepts.
  • Knowledge of continuous build integration tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
