Geospatial Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to join our team in Delhi, India.

About the Role:
  • Promote and Support of Datamine Software:
    1. Actively promote Datamine software, with a focus on Discover.
    2. Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and presentations to potential clients.
    3. Provide training sessions and ongoing support to clients for effective use of Discover software.
  • Project Support and Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with field teams to understand their mapping and data visualization needs.
    2. Create high-quality geological maps, cross-sections, and other visualizations for use in reports and field operations.
    3. Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders on various projects.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    1. Manage and maintain geological and geospatial databases.
    2. Perform spatial analysis to support exploration and development activities.
  • Client Engagement and Training:
    1. Develop and deliver training materials, including user guides and tutorials for Discover software.
    2. Provide exceptional client service by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Professional Development:
    1. Stay updated on advancements in GIS, geological software, and mapping technologies.
    2. Participate in industry workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related geology/geosciences field.
  • Proficiency in Datamine Discover software and other GIS tools.
  • Experience in geological mapping, data visualization, and geospatial analysis.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with other Datamine products and related geological software.
  • Experience in database management and working with large datasets.
