Data Governance Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced data governance professional who can help us build and manage systems that organize important business data. This role requires someone who understands both the technical setup and how to work with clients and team members to deliver reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our platform to set up and customize data management solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Create and manage data models (structures that define how information is stored and linked), leveraging expertise in data integration and migration.
- Help design and build ways to connect our system with other systems (using APIs, ETL tools, or web services), promoting seamless data exchange and interoperability.
- Collaborate with the team to find the best technical options and guide them in development, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain solutions in simple terms, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, performance, or integration, resolving problems quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience working with MDM platforms and data governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Java or JavaScript for customization and coding/debugging tools like an IDE.
- Experience in data integration (ETL, REST APIs, web services) and hands-on knowledge of databases (SQL) and common data formats like XML, JSON, CSV.
- Understanding of data models and how systems store information, as well as data security and compliance regulations.
