Enterprise Dynamics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our enterprise application environment with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets and Projects.
  • Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to debug existing AX customizations, trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL, extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server, write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration, perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality, create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings and validation steps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or later.
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation and validation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems e.g. SQL Server, Oracle is a plus.
