Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant. This is a part-time freelancer position, working 4 hours per day.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and possess strong business process knowledge.
  • This role involves configuring and customizing D365 F&O modules such as Sales, Finance, SCM, Procurement, Inventory, etc.
  • Candidates will work closely with the technical team to ensure proper implementation of solutions.
  • Responsibilities include participating in data migration, testing, and go-live support.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with clients based in the US, Europe, and the Middle East for project delivery.
  • Key responsibilities also include gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and designing scalable solutions in D365 F&O.
  • The job requires configuring and customizing various modules including Finance, Procurement & Sourcing, Accounts Receivable/Payable, General Ledger, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Candidates should be able to lead and participate in end-to-end implementation cycles, including requirement workshops, Fit-Gap analysis, testing, data migration, training, and post-go-live support.
  • This role also involves collaborating with technical consultants, developers, and integration teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Other responsibilities include providing production support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring business continuity.
  • Candidates should also conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions and user training workshops.
  • Project documentation including Business Process Documents, Functional Design Documents, and Training Manuals must be prepared.
  • Staying updated with Microsoft D365 F&O roadmap, new features, and best practices to recommend process improvements is essential.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a D365 F&O (or AX) Functional Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in key modules:
  • Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management)
  • Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Sales & Distribution)
  • Experience in Fit-Gap analysis, business process mapping, and solution design is required.
  • Proficiency in preparing functional documentation and test scripts is necessary.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and lead small to medium implementation projects.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate / Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate is preferred.
  • Experience with global rollouts and multi-country implementations is beneficial.
