Procurement Expert

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled procurement professional with expertise in managing end-to-end procurement processes. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing high-quality products at optimal costs and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Identifying alternative or new products, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and presenting to management.
  • Handling the entire procurement process of assigned materials, ensuring timely delivery and payment to suppliers.
  • Optimizing inventory levels by controlling lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Transferring excess dead stock to other sites.
  • Building strong relationships with vendors by monitoring their performance and undertaking joint improvement projects.
  • Effective coordination with all sites through regular site visits and creating a strong network within and outside the organization.
  • Continuous monitoring, review, and taking timely corrective action to achieve targets.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in construction materials with experience in end-to-end procurement.
  • Enhancing the value of products/services, making annual rate contracts, obtaining alternative products/vendors, or substituting OEMs.
  • Good negotiation skills/presentation skills for effective coordination with all sites.
  • A research-oriented job with continuous monitoring and review.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Purchase.
  • Experience in real estate is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of property market dynamics, valuation, and laws.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in real estate management software and tools.
