Job Title: SOC Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join our team as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst. This is a key role that plays a critical part in our organization's cyber security strategy.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Achieve and maintain situational awareness of the information systems and networks within your assigned scope of responsibility.
    • Analyze data from various sources, including network traffic, system logs, and threat intelligence feeds, to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and implement effective countermeasures to mitigate identified security risks and ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
    • Maintain and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of security processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security incidents 24/7, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
    • Skills and Qualifications:
      • Demonstrated expertise in cyber security principles, practices, and technologies, with a strong understanding of threat actors, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
      • Proven ability to analyze complex security data, identify trends and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to inform security decisions.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex security challenges.
