Position Overview:

GRC Consultant Role

As a GRC Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing GRC systems for our clients. Your responsibilities will include developing and participating in client initiatives focused on reducing technology risk, governance, and compliance with policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks and improve client security positioning through process improvement, policy automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Assess information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environments, providing recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements, designing clients' information security postures, and ensuring compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, as well as incident management disciplines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Performing internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, documenting and reporting control failures and gaps to stakeholders.
  2. Staying current on best practices and technological advancements, acting as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideally CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualified.
  • Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
