Visual Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a creative and experienced Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a visual merchandising strategy that aligns with the brand's aesthetic and guidelines.
  • Design and execute store windows, focal points, and material displays to showcase key products, themes, or promotions.
  • Source and order visual merchandising and styling props.
  • Adapt and refresh window and creative content across region stores as per the calendar.
  • Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain and ensure store upkeep, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Styling Expertise:

  • Style experience centers and homes designed by us for photo and video shoots.
  • Source products and props online/offline to style customers' homes.
  • Manage and coordinate between photographers, interior designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Inventory manage styling products and props.
  • Schedule and manage photo/video shoots with multiple people involved, including the customer.
  • Cull pictures for editing and create stunning visuals.
  • Style 3D rendered images to perfection.

Vendor and Budget Management:

  • Acquire quotations from vendors to procure quality products at the best price.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely execution of windows and other areas within the schedule.
  • Ensure payment to respective vendors and follow up on billing processes weekly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, interior design, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the home interior or home furnishing industry.
  • Strong creative and design skills.
  • Proficiency in Sketch-up or 3D Max software and other relevant design tools.
  • Knowledge of home interiors and styling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
