Job Title: Senior QA Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior QA Strategist to lead and manage our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in managing QA functions, and solid technical knowledge of automation tools and practices.

This role requires strategic thinking, effective team management, and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

  • Define and own the QA strategy, test plans, and governance model across projects and releases.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage both manual and automation test teams, ensuring clear role assignments and accountability.
  • Align QA strategy with business goals by collaborating with product managers, developers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders.
  • Establish and oversee automation strategies, frameworks, and best practices while ensuring effective integration with manual testing.
  • Ensure effective test planning, execution, reporting, and defect lifecycle management across all phases of testing (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression).
Required Skills & Qualifications:

~12+ years of overall QA experience, with at least 5+ years in a Test Manager / QA Leadership role.

~ Proven experience in managing blended teams (manual and automation).

~ Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management processes.

~ Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca, RestAssured, or similar).

~ Experience in Web UI, API, and Mobile testing.

~ Expertise in test environment management, test data management, and CI/CD pipelines.

~ Strong project management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
